Privacy Statement

Collection of personal data of customers, suppliers and other contractors
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we will collect and use the personal data you provide us with, as this is necessary to conclude and execute any potential agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services ourselves.

If you are a (potential) client, we use your data to be able to send you a quote, to determine the specific requirements for a particular item or service, to deliver items to you or to perform work for you, to be able to invoice you and to be able to communicate with you in a smooth and efficient way about the implementation aspects of the agreement.

If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, we also need your personal data for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. In the case of purchasing, this is necessary in order to let you know what specifications or requirements a certain product or service needs to adhere to in our view, to be able to send you a request for a quote or to place an order with you, to pay your invoices and to be able to communicate with you in a smooth and efficient way about other aspects of the agreement.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with (sufficient) personal data, it is possible that we cannot execute the previously mentioned work.

Sharing with third parties
It is possible that in relation to the execution of any potential agreement with you, we have to share your personal data with parties that deliver parts, materials and products to us, or that perform work on our behalf. We also make use of external server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchasing administration, which includes your personal data. For this reason, we provide your personal data to our server provider. We also use Microsoft Office and the corresponding storage facilities for e-mails and other files. Finally, because we use a newsletter mailing service, we also share your personal data with the provider of this service.

The duration for which we store your data
In case you have requested a quote from us, but you have not become a customer, we will delete your personal data no later than one year after our last contact. Similarly, if we have asked you for a quote, but we have not become a customer, we shall also delete your personal data no later than one year after we last had contact. If you have become our customer, or if we have become your customer, we will keep your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which our agreement was fully executed. The period of seven years corresponds to the period in which we are obliged to keep our records for the Belastingdienst (Dutch Tax Authorities). After this period ends, we will delete your personal data.

Your rights
You have the right to ask us to review your own personal data. If there are reasons to do so, you can also ask us to supplement your personal data or to correct any errors. In addition, you have the right to ask us to delete personal data or to limit the use of personal data. You can also object to our collection and use of your data or file a complaint at the ‘Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens’ (Dutch Data Protection Authority). Finally, you can ask us to obtain your personal data or transfer them to another party. You can contact us to exercise your rights. It is of course also possible to contact us for more information about the collection and use of personal data.
