For many years we’ve received all kinds of ships for (emergency) repairs, maintenance and insurance inspections. Can’t bring your ship to us? In that case we can come to you. We’re happy to help you find a solution making the time your ship is stationary as short as possible.
Dry-docking.
We can dry dock your ship in both Franeker and Groningen. At both locations, it’s possible to keep masts and rigging up.
We can also provide for the following services at both locations:
- Docking
- Hose cleaning
- Coating
- Repairing both the hull and the ship’s topside, if necessary in consultation with your insurance company
Lengthening and shortening.
Does your ship need to be shortened to adhere to certain requirements? Or lengthened so it can transport more freight? No matter how much needs to be added or removed, our repairs team will make it happen.
A second life.
Our team has a lot of experience and affinity with restoring historical ships. Preserving and restoring cultural heritage to its former and original glory is something we love to do, and is also something we know about.
These restoration projects are often part of apprenticeships, where jobseekers are prepared for a career in the shipbuilding and engineering industry through practical training.
