A fully electric patrol vessel that takes a step towards sustainability and technological innovation for the maritime sector. The Pandion is specifically designed and built to efficiently and environmentally monitor the nature reserves of South Holland.
Pandion is green.
The Pandion operates CO2-neutral through electric propulsion combined with a large battery pack, which is recharged overnight.
The vessel is equipped with 216 kWh of battery capacity, allowing it to sail electrically for up to 8 hours at speeds of up to 10 knots. With a length of 16.00 meters, a width of 4.65 meters, and a displacement of 35 tons (half load), these are impressive performance figures.
Innovative.
The Pandion is equipped with a range of technological installations that optimize water surveillance. The Alphatron navigation systems, along with the FLIR thermal imaging camera and radar, ensure that the vessel can operate safely under all weather conditions. This allows for effective monitoring at night and in poor visibility, enabling quick intervention when needed.
